Ostrich herl is a great product for the tyer who is producing sow bugs, scud or other lively nymph and emerger patterns because of the lifelike appearance and very little buildup on the hook shank.  With over a dozen colors to choose from, one can easily "match" what they are working towards.  Combine colors to add depth and complexity to patters - our favorite is grey and pink......a deadly sow bug pattern!

This product has long fibers and plenty of material to churn out dozens of flies - a great value!
