Scuds and Sow Bugs are critical on tailwater fisheries and if you want to up your success, you need to be using them.  However, not all scuds are orange or green so you need to branch out and use materials that allow for a wider color choice.  Hareline's Scud Dub does just that with12 colors to choose from!  The colors are very bright and allow patterns to have a "pop" underwater and are dead on accurate.  WROC has examined scuds from the Big Horn to the Green River and there is not a color we found that we have not been able to match with this material!  Our favorite is to blend the gray and pink together - 2 parts gray, 1 part pink.  Dub the body and lightly brush the body out before bringing the scud back over or applying an epoxy back.  Great pattern!

Great material for the thorax of attractor nymph patterns as well. Use this material to replace the peacock on a Pheasant Tail. Deadly!
